Isabel was conceived in Melbourne Australia. Her mother is Swiss as is her father Australian. She lived with her family at Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town located in the Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Her sister Nina was also a student at the school which had students from all cultures and First Nations. Isabel resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. She attended the Queensland Institute of Technology, the Victorian College of the Arts as well as Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. The actress did not appear in parts until the agent called her in 2002. She auditioned to play the role of Tasha on the show Home and Away 1998. The show did not choose her for the role but she was able to impress enough producers that they decided to create a brand new character for Tasha. She starred for 3 years as her first television role and won the Logie Award for new popular talent for her performance. In 2008, Isabel made the move into Los Angeles. The film she made her debut was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009. The following year she was a part of numerous US and Australian films and has won numerous prizes. Isabel has recently starred on the screen in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy The film is quickly becoming an Australian classic. Also, she starred in the upcoming action thriller Lunacy. Isabel has also wrapped Sons of Summer and is currently in the process of preparing for the role of Marie Curie in Radiant with an award-winning scriptwriter and director Annika Glac. Isabel is a keen advocate of animal rights, and has worked with many environmental groups. Isabel served as the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) for ten years until the year 2020. Isabel has been a face in a number of cosmetics, fashion as well as eco-conscious initiatives.
